I have been wanting to get into online sports betting. I was wondering if it is illegal and how do I start.
I was thinking about starting with around $500 but when started doing my research some of the sites don’t even look real. I was wondering if anyone had good experiences with any site. I want to be able to bet NBA and world Soccer. Can someone please give me some direction. Thanks

Online sports betting is legal. If you review the laws, it’s centered around the online sportsbooks themselves and the payment processors who process the financial transactions for them, not the bettors. Even if there was a law against betting on sports online, it would be completely unenforcable, which is probably the reason why there isn’t one.

I have had personal experiences with the two online sportsbooks below in the source box. Both have been around for a while and are legitimate.
