currently the pacers appear the be the last team from the east to get into the playoffs while currently holding a dismal record of 35-43. meanwhile the west had huston holding a winning record of 41-36 and probably will not make the playoffs. also two additional teams being phoenix and utah that even though will have losing records, will still have better records than indinana. i understand that when you let 16 out of 32 teams in the playoffs that some will have losing records since it is more than half, and also i am not criticizing the eastern conference. boston, miami, chicago, and orlando are definitely legitimate championship contenders. i just find it unfair that each year there are two or three teams from the west with better records than the lowest team from the east that fail to get into the playoffs. should it be changed to just say the best 16 out of the entire nba. thanks.

Remembering that Detroit beat the Lakers in 2004 and Miami beat Dallas in 2006 it seems like a scary bet. But he thinks that the West is too busy beating up on each other to even be ready to play against the likes of Detroit or Boston in the Finals. He makes a good point but I want to take his money. And it seems like the East is winning in even years (2004,2006) and the West is winning in odd years (2001,2003,2005,2007). What do you guys think?

Boston is my choice but friends would tell me Lakers is going to beat them. I think Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Rey Allen and Rajon Rondo is enough. But Kobe and Gasul. If I were you, where do you wanna put your bet?
